Marry Me

Big news everybody, I got engaged just a few days ago. I'm really looking forward to what's in store for our future and the marriage that we will have. So in the midst of this time, I discovered a new song, it may be old to you, but is definitely impacting.

Once again a very simple song that is so captivating. However what stands out to me are the impacting lyrics and how this song tells a great story. It doesn't really build as most songs do, but I think that's the point. You can tell through the music video that this isn't a story about a guy who likes a girl and then finally get's with her. Rather this is a story about what is to come, telling us only what's began. I think that's why there is no build, the song doesn't need to go anywhere because even the story hasn't gone anywhere, it's just the beginning. Hope you enjoy...
